| BETTY HAMMOND It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth (Betty) Hammond after a short illness. Betty has been one of our foremost supporters, having been President on two occasions. Always willing to volunteer she was the organiser of our church services and the M.C. at our annual St David’s Day Dinners and contributed significantly to the organisation of the society. She will be greatly missed by the Welsh Society. The society sends its deepest sympathies to her husband Ron and to her children and grandchildren. Betty's funeral will be held at Heybridge Church on Tuesday 8th February at 2.00pm followed by cremation at Chelmsford Crematorium at 3.30pm |
