| One of the founder members of the society, Margaret Dutton was asked to write a few words on the society from its inception to the present day. It became obvious that this task could not be performed in a “few words”, so over the next few pages you can read how the Society started and how the annual events we enjoy so much came into being. Thanks to Margaret for recalling from memory such a lot of the past forty years or so, and for putting it down on paper, or rather, braving the word processor. |
